“ Just get the falafel. Now I dont expect everyone to drop what they are doing and rush to Duarte for falafel....but you could... This humble restaurant offers big taste and delivers quality everytime....and in this case...I believe hard work and the 'labor of love' proove a successful recipe. Located in a strip mall, Janet's seems like a grab and go joint for locals....but it's really falafel paradise. To be honest, i havent tried anything else here....but the falafel is very, very good. The falafel plate is a good size. Definitely large enough to satisfy a hungry appetite. It has amazing flavor with strong spices enhancing every bite. The crispy fried exterior contrasts nicely with the soft center and matches nicely with the flatbread, hummus and salad. The flavor of the falafel is great...but the lingering herbal aroma is heavenly. The service is very good when you order, and there is a dining area off to the side where you can eat there. Everything is kept clean and there is plenty of room for your friends. I will be back to try the kebabs....but the falafel has my heart! ”
“ Big fan of Janet's! I come here more than a few times a month and LOVE their falafel salad!! I know there's more to order there but when I want some healthy with tons of flavor, Janet's Falafel Salad is my go to. The falafel is soooo tasty and the salad dressing is CRAZY good and the fact that they give you a pita wrap is a great addition to the enjoy the dish multiple ways. Go check it out, you will not be disappointed! ”
“ Janet's remains one of the better Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Tried dine in and service and food was solid. My GF didn't love the beef because of the texture, which I understand was a bit off but chicken and lule kabob were on point. Platter for two was more than enough for us and had leftovers for the next day too. Great deal for about $35. Will be back for sure. ”
“ Solid mediterranean food. Everything taste fresh, tender, and delicious. We got the combo for 2. It is $33 bucks, with tax it's more like $37. If you're hungry you can probably eat the whole thing. If you're a small eater, you can probably make this 3 meals and still feel very satisfied. - Salad is fresh. - Meats are tender. Wish there was more though. - Lots of rice. Pretty good. Not overpowering flavor. - Hummus is smooth. Not too much garlic flavor. - Garlic sauce is nice, tangy, and refreshing. - Pita bread is good. I like to tear it and dip/scoop with hummus. The hubby likes to split in half and fill out like a sandwich. ”
“ This is my first review for 2024! I had ordered from this restaurant via Uber Eats. I had their Combo for One Kebab Plate. This is marinated filet mignon and chicken breast served with basmati rice, salad, garlic sauce, hummus and pita bread. I ordered an extra side of tahini sauce - which is my favorite! For me, this was a lot of food. Both proteins were flavorful. The salad dressing had a citrus flavor, which I like. The pita bread and hummus dip were also yummy. We hope to visit this place in person soon and hope to try more dishes! ”
